About the Business

I have worked in the hairdressing industry for 29 years. I served my apprenticeship in local salons before travelling to Manchester to gain further experience. I was the manageress of a large salon there for 3 years, alongside my regular employment I also taught youngsters to level 2 and level 3 city and guilds standard.

Since then I have gained further salon experience locally before starting as a freelance mobile hairdresser to tie in with my family. Although I had reservations at first this has proved to be very successful as I have developed a large customer base within the town. I find that this is a much more personal service as I am entering other peoples homes. I pride myself on getting to know my clients well and fitting in with their busy lives all with a professional service which is hard to achieve in the home. My clients tend to feel more relaxed and comfortable having their hair done at home.
