About the Business

Hair Design Co has been in Hornchurch since 1980, the salon was originally called Michael Gregg. In 1995 the salon moved to a more prominent location in Elm Park and was then re-named to "Tao" meaning "new beginning." Michael left the salon in 2004 and returned in 2006 moving the hair salon back to its original location.

The Hornchurch hair salon has 5 independent stylists; each running their own business within the framework of the salon. The stylists have long term relations with the salon, which make for a warm, cosy, professional and friendly atmosphere.

The original salon was a founder member of the hairdressing group "3.6.5 Day Hairdressing" a business club for hairdressers, since Michael returned in 2006 he has formed his own business club perfect hair day for independent stylists.
