About the Business
From these humble beginnings the Cheynes Team has grown and now has more than 170 superbly trained and highly motivated staff in six salons located throughout the city centre of Edinburgh. Jennifer and her Art team have travelled the world presenting shows and seminars which resulted in the opening of the Cheynes Academy in 1988, along with Managing Director, Paul Adamczuk. Cheynes Training was launched in 1989 with Director, William Howarth, and has now delivered an NVQ Training Programme to hundreds of hairdressing salons all over Britain with over 8,000 trainees achieving qualifications.
Cheynes Training continues to be one of the largest hairdressing training companies in the UK. Jennifer also launched 'Clipmeche' to the hairdressing industry, which is an environmental friendly Highlighting System and can be purchased by salons (click on 'Education'), which gives a tremendous long lasting result for clients.
